![]() This means, only a portion of a sites users are effected. If a CDN is down, its likely that the outages are localised to specific regions, otherwise it wouldn't be a very good CDN. If something is self hosted and parts of your services service become inaccessible, then either your entire site is down or the experience is degraded. This is a problem whether using CDNs or not. It's not really an argument against the use of CDNs but rather a suggestion that there are best practices for development and user experience. This is an obvious design consideration choice when selecting current version vs explicit version. It doesn't really matter the ratio, as long as it is greater than 1. >1:1 for CDN/version combo vs 1:1 for self hosted. There's more of a chance of having already downloading a CDN/version combo than there is if every site hosted the content themselves. I just wanted to give some counterpoints to some of your arguments: Nowadays, in an era of rampant privacy and security violations, I think using 3rd party sources for Javascript should be treated as an anti-pattern. And I'm certainly guilty of misusing CDNs like this.īack when there were only a few CDNs, and their libraries didn't change rapidly, there was an advantage to using them. Of course, that means that you could end up with a broken experience on your site. If even a single byte of that JS file is changed, the hash won't match and the browser should refuse to run the code. You gain extra security by using SubResource Integrity. A malicious user changed the code on site which wasn't in BA's control - then BA served it up to its customers. What is your CDN doing with all that data? Securityīritish Airways' payments page was hacked by compromised 3rd party Javascript. What's your CDN's privacy policy? Do you need to tell your user that their browsing data are being sent to a shadowy corporation in a different legal jurisdiction? If you serve your JS from the same source as your main site, there is less chance of a user getting a broken experience. That isn't necessarily a bad thing - you do progressive enhancement, right? But it isn't ideal. Is your CDN reliable? You hope so! But if a user's network blocks a CDN or interrupts the download, you're now serving your site without Javascript. And, of course, if you're using v1.2 and another site is using v1.2.1 the browser can't take advantage of cacheing. So most people only include a specific version of the JS they want. But then you have to deal with breaking changes with little warning. There are some CDN's which let you include the latest version of a library. But if you are truly worried about speed, surely your whole site should be behind a CDN - not just a few JS libraries? Versioning Have some respect for your users' download limits. You probably shouldn't be using multi-megabyte libraries. ![]() How much of an advantage does that really give you? Speed ![]() What are the chances that your user has visited a site which uses the exact same CDN as your site? But there are dozens of popular Javascript CDNs available. I think these advantages are overstated and lead to some significant disadvantages.

9/5/2023 0 Comments Smart lock![]() Under low temperature conditions, battery performance will be reduced and battery life will be shortened. The battery life may vary depending on actual operating conditions. The "12-month ultra-long battery life" was measured by 鹿客实验室 with 8 AA original batteries, by simulating opening and closing the door at a rate of 10 times per day, at an ambient temperature of 25☌. After the test, the fingerprint sensor function was normal. The module was tested 100,000 times in total, with a frequency of 60 times/minute and pressing force of 3N. The 100,000-time fingerprint module durability test was carried out by 鹿客实验室 with a button service life tester. Test results: The appearance, function and performance of the tested samples are normal. Note: Before testing, other areas (FPC, BTB etc.) apart from the fingerprint module were wrapped with sealing tape to prevent them from being corroded by sweat. Three samples were tested for acid and alkaline sweat solutions respectively. The wrapped sample was transferred into a PE bag, then placed at 45☌ and 55% RH for 48 hours. The solution in beaker A was the desired acidic sweat solution The sample was wrapped with a dust-free cloth soaked in the sweat solution. The solution in beaker B was the desired alkaline sweat solution Carefully added glacial acetic acid solution to beaker A to make its pH reach 4.7. The test method was as follows: Weighed 5g of sodium chloride and 5g of disodium hydrogen phosphate and added to 250ml beaker A Took 100ml of purified water with a measuring cylinder and poured this into beaker A Stirred the solution with a glass rod to fully dissolve the solid Carefully added sodium hydroxide solution drop by drop into the mixed solution with a dropper to make its pH value reach 9.5 Took 50ml of the mixed solution and added into beaker B. The 48-hour fingerprint module perspiration resistance test was carried out by 江苏凯尔生物识别技术有限公司实验室. Similar situations are common problems for fingerprint sensors. Elderly people and children may have a low fingerprint identification rate and be unable to be recognised due to fingerprint development or serious fingerprint wear. The smart door lock fingerprint sensor supports people between the ages of 7 and 70, so most people can use it. Self-learning was used and the true fingerprint was rejected 318 times with a false rejection rate of 1.06% and an individual sensing rate of 98.94%. The true matching in the testing was 30,000 times in total. The self-developed pre-processing algorithm and fingerprint sensing algorithm were used, and the self-developed algorithm was used to run the library software. At normal room temperature (about 26☌), the fingerprint of each finger was collected 50 times for 600 fingers. Operating environment: Windows Server 2008, Xeon processor, 384GB memory and 8TB hard disk. The data for the fingerprint identification rate is from 鹿客实验室. Through the mechanical simulation of the artificial environment, the door was opened and closed 100,000 times. The sample in combination with the lock body was installed on a test rack according to the installation specifications. 100,000 opening and closing test was carried out by 鹿客实验室. This was measured by 鹿客实验室 when the sample was installed on a test rack according to the installation specifications at an ambient temperature of 25☌, using 8 original batteries in combination with the lock body. My four year old can unlock my phone and scan the tag to get it to unlock that way.Notes: Locking within 0.8 seconds after closing the door is the time when the main lock latch driven by the motor is completely advanced after the door is closed. Similarly for auto unlocking, I find it isn’t reliable enough, so I have NFC tags near each door which I can scan with my phone. ![]() My fear is that I will step out to the bins or something when home alone, without my phone and get locked out. Personally I don’t use any automatic locking capability, but I do have notifications going on. It is available in the Nuki app, but I work on the basis of the device doing its job (lock and unlock) and I control the how. With regards to everything else, that is just down to HA configuration. With Bluetooth getting a lot of attention in HA, I expect being able to skip the gateway will be possible soon (if not already, I am not monitoring it). I se a third party integration, not the native one, which still goes in through the Gateway. If you are doing a new build, then get a power output put on the hinge side of the door, get the power pack and then run a cable to keep it powered. Had I not had a good Jigglypuff, I may have very well lost both of those tournaments. I needed to use Jigglypuff in order to win RoM6 and RoM7 teams (Revival of Melee tournament series). She is probably the best character in teams (unless Fox is better which is very debatable and I still think Puff is better honestly). Teams is a completely different story however. In many years from now, when all of the Gamecube controllers are no longer good, Jigglypuff will become even better than she is right now. Players that get frustrated easily or impatient are especially easy to deal with as Jigglypuff. This means Jigglypuff can just hit you a single time and then go for rests (land next to you with no aerial then grab or up tilt which you cannot react to easily at all, Pound you to trick your dash dance game while you wait for a Bair but she does Pound instead, or just wavedash back and up throw you).ĭreamland 64 is also EXTREMELY good for Jigglypuff, making her have basically an auto-win stage vs. Up throw rest kills Fox at 11% on Final Destination, and one Jigglypuff strong aerial does 12%. The idea of camping until you can get a good guess, read, or 50/50, is very powerful and easy to do consistently. You can use a very bad controller and still play her extremely well. Jigglypuff's style screams out "consistency" more than any other character. However, because Hungrybox does not use this tactic (I think he is not good at it), and because most Jigglypuffs are not great players, this will not be common enough to ever matter so no rule will ever be placed. It is at the point that I almost feel Jigglypuff should have a ledge grab limit because of how good this tactic is against some characters. Hax to 4 stock him on two different occasions last year. I have used this strategy in tournament vs. Ledge hop Fairs (and sometimes Dair if you believe they will block) can be used at many various timings to have a huge advantage once you get a stock lead. One thing most Jigglypuffs do not do as good as me is planking. If you get the stock lead as Jigglypuff, you can just camp until you get a chance to rest the opponent (which will usually happen at some point). One of these reasons is because she can constantly take a minor risk or 50/50 scenario to try to kill you, and if she succeeds, your stock is over. I believe Jigglypuff is better than everyone except Fox/Falco for several reasons. 9/5/2023 0 Comments Frog applauseWhile singing one of her best-known hits, Roar, a tiger face made entirely of drones lit up above her, sending the crowd into rapturous applause.
